We have done 4 trips with the series 3 and it had saved our skis from death by luggage-handler. Those guys throw stuff around as though it was worthless and any protection is good. The Sportube is tough and well designed and does exactly what you want. We fit 2 sets of skis and 2 sets of poles in, though there is room for others small items should you need to pack them. Overall I would say this product has more than paid for itself in 4 trips. Highly recommended.

I am very pleased with my Sportube snowboard carrier. It is easy to load and protects your gear, as advertised. I would never want to go back to my old soft snowboard carrier, which required binding removal. Be careful of one thing, however. Most airlines have a 50 lb. weight limit on baggage. If you go over, they charge $25 - $100, depending on the airline and where you are going. I loaded my board (158) with bindings, my son�s board (115) with bindings, and both pairs of boots into the Sportube and it weighed 49.5 lbs. Two adult-sized boards with bindings and boots will definitely put you over the airline weight limit.
