Mens Tactic w Audio Helmet Boeris Tactic Ski and Snowboard helmet wraps every piece of technology into one helmet. The Tactic has the protection of a hard shell helmet but with the weight of a microshell. It has a short shell design combined with in mold Microshell construction and a hard shell "Halo". The Tactic is the worlds first hybrid helmet. Seven plug activated heat dissipating chimney vents and three additional shut off vents combine for a multitude of air flow options. Finished with a one piece ear and neck cover youve got the latest in technical versatility. The Tactic includes the "Head Loc" a revolutionary self adjusting occipital lobe retention system that improves overall helmet fit comfort and safety without additional weight or inconvenience to the user. The Tactic is audio compatible. It accepts the Boeri Radioactive Audio Drop Liner. This Radioactive replaces the existing drop liner ear covers in your Tactic. This is by far the best helmet i have ever owned ,,light weight but strong. The audio connections are strong and tight,with more than an ample length of good quality cord.

The helmet itself is comfortable, attractive, and totally functional. The stitching is of good quality and the liner is warm to minus -11 celsius. The vents let enough air in to keep your head cool when hot and the snow and rain out when closed.

I was pleasantly surprised by the great sound reproduction. As for the maximum volume setting, with my ipod touch connected ,It's loud enough to listen to music in a quiet environment while the helmet is removed and sitting on the table!

In extreme cold weather You can also wear a thin balaclava with no difficulties and still have a proper comfortable fit . I was warm with just the liner to minus -11 Celsius and warm as toast to minus -20 with a balaclava.

If you have finished growing i would buy this helmet,just because of the price.However with proper care it will last a long time .You get what you pay for with this item!

Make sure you measure your head with string and a measuring tape before ordering and find your size on the seizing chart. I was at the end of the ML scale and my thin balaclava fits just fine.
