Precision Mountainwear / Helix Sizing Chart

 

Below are the measurements for the Helix and Precision Mountainwear jackets and pants. Note that the models fit differently. The Rider Pants and Slope Jacket tend to be looser giving the fit snowboarders prefer. We suggest you follow the following steps if you need help with sizing:

If you have jacket or pants that fit well
  • Measure and existing jacket or pant that fits well.
  • Find the closest size below. No two pieces of clothing are cut the same.
  • Pick the one that is the closest but don't down in measurement unless the existing clothing has more room than you need. or
    • Measure Yourself
  • Take the measurements that correspond to the clothing you are looking at e.g. for a pant measure waist, inseam and hips. Remember to measure with the clothing on that you will be wearing underneath (sweaters, long underwear etc.)
  • Find the appropriate size below.
  • Pick the one that is the closest but don't down in measurement.
  • As these measurements of the garment not the size they fit, go up one size e.g if you measure to a Medium, go up to a Large.
    • How to Measure:
  • Chest:Take measurement up under the arms and around chest. This is about 1" below the armpit.
  • Sleeves: Measure from the base of the neck, across shoulder, down arm to slightly bent elbow and up to wrist.
  • Waist: Measure circumference at the narrowest part.
  • Hips: Measure at the fullest point, standing with feet together. This is about 3" above the crotch.
